about you

your daily screentime alert is alarming. you always want to scroll, learn, and be on a device. you also like to get creative and enjoy making something fun. you might even pay attention to how a website or email interaction annoys you as a user. better yet, you think about how you would change it. you’ve heard of the term “UX”. you like interacting online with people, brands and content they distribute. you see the power of influencers to make a difference and be a voice. ultimately, you want to play a role in making sure they’re supported, lifted up and compensated appropriately.

the role

as a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will plan, execute and create marketing projects for assigned clients across all of their owned digital platforms, specifically email, website, and social media.

  • write, build, test and deploy email marketing campaigns; perform A-B-C tests when appropriate
  • audit websites and landing pages of key clients, making recommendations on how to optimize the overall user experience, traffic, and conversions.
  • understand meta data and the importance of search engine optimization; set benchmarks and improve
  • experience in developing digital marketing content calendar based on client priorities
  • schedule and publish content across social media platform
  • write engaging and timely copy for various clients in brand voice in line with personas
  • experience in community management
  • project management and communication with outside resources (e.g. designer, media buyer, developer)
  • propose ideas and contribute to marketing plans for clients, presenting multiple options
  • assist with biweekly and monthly reporting using platform analytics in line with KPIs established with the client upfront
  • set, organize, and monitor timelines for the team; ensure upfront goals are met presenting project progress at ongoing status meetings
  • manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and ideas

qualifications

  • 3-5 years in digital marketing, preferably at a marketing agency
  • ability to work both independently and collaboratively towards set goals
  • interest in touching a variety of industries, specifically professional services, hospitality, and healthcare
  • experience with email marketing platforms
  • experience with search engine optimization preferred
  • history of copywriting for email, social and web preferred
  • bonus points if you’ve been in Google Analytics, and even more so if you know how to create custom reporting dashboards
  • understanding of social media and the influencer space
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

the opportunity

  • this is a full-time position
  • it is 70% remote, 30% on-site at events and in-person meetings in Pittsburgh, PA
  • this is open to applicants based in the US, with interest in upfront travel to Pittsburgh, PA
